Default Knocking tapping idk!

I have a current knocking sound coming from my 2016 F150 XLT sc 5.0. Sound started around 20,000 truck has 30,000 on it now. I have taken the truck to the dealer 3-4 times now with zero success. I have heard anything from bad gas to we can’t hear it. HELP!! The sound is narrowed down to drivers side from driver seat to grill in that general location. I also have a video of the sound clip of it not the best video but I’ll send it to anyone if they can help!

Can you narrow it down to the general area of the engine it's coming from? Such as top or bottom, rear, front...

First, you haven't told us very much. You have a noise, located on the driver's side somewhere between the nose and the driver's seat. Do you know how many possibilities exist?

Try narrowing down the problem. Does it occur all the time? Only certain times? When the engine is cold? Hot? Does the sound change? What makes it change? Is it variable with road speed, engine speed, both? Only in a certain gear? Any performance issues resulting?

Post the video to Youtube and link it here so we can all hear it.

Default Sounds

Sound exist once normal operating temperature is reached. Normally happens around 2200 rpm right before shift with normal accelestion applied. Has about 3-4 knocks before going away. I want to say the sound is coming from the bottom end. It’s only happens during movement can’t regenerate at a stand still.

Hmm. Post the video for sure.

If you put the trans in manual and hold the motor at 2200, right before the shift would occur, is it constant? I'm wondering if it's a heat shield or something, and just vibrating enough at some resonance point.

I can't hear much. I wouldn't expect detonation... that would usually get worse as engine load increases. But, you could always watch the knock PIDs with an OBD reader to see if engine knock is detected.
