Does anyone have the scoop on when the Kicker VSS will be available for this model?

 

The email reply I received from Kicker last week:

Thanks for your interest in the brand.

We’re currently working on the PowerStage and SubStage versions of the KICKER 2015 F-150 VSS. It was announced during SEMA Show and at CES, and should be available to the public early this summer.

 

Oh, and no reply from Harman about the JBL system due out.

 

I'm wondering if they will offer the Sound Stage without the sub for those of us that ordered the factory Kicker sub option? My truck is still on order, but I don't expect much out of the factory speakers.

 

What's the Kicker VSS?

I ordered mine with the Kicker sub and while its not two 12s pounding in the back it does sound pretty good for what it is. It's not bad at all. I figured it would be under the seat, but it's behind the driver side back seat.

 

Any more info on any of these upgrades?

What all does the factory Kicker deal add? Just a Kicker sub instead of the base one? No other speaker or amp upgrades?

Anyone have any pics of the kicker stuff?

Just spoke with Kicker and they said another 4-6 weeks. It's done, they just don't have any for shipment yet.

Let's hope they hurry.

 

I need one of these! I bought my XLT off the lot and it didn't have the Kicker sub upgrade... I really don't mind the sound of my stock speakers, just would like a little more base. I don't understand why we are still waiting for this when Ford is putting it in the XLT models from the factory....

 

One of the best things I ordered on my XLT was the kicker sub.Love my classic rock and some bass to go with it
