Default Kicker hideaway mounting?

I’ve got a kicker hideaway coming in next week and I’m looking at mounting options behind the driver side rear seat. How did everyone mount theirs?

Im pretty handy, and the only criteria is that is has to be completely reversible. Was thinking about mounting some kind of MDF to the two seatbelt bolts.

Let’s see what you’ve got!

Unsecured? I don’t want to hear it sliding around when I make turns or hit the occasional big bump.

Angle aluminum to hold it to the two seat bolts. Add new nuts on top to sandwich it all and you'll be good to go.

Placed mine dead center behind rear seat. Cut 2 slits in the rear insulation panel inch above floor and inch below top of speaker. Then used one of the included velcro straps to fasten. Once you pull the Velcro you'll have no idea there are the t slits. Hasn't budged since install.

IMO rounds out the sound well. Added this along w upgrading my speakers. Isn't earth shaking but worth it for the performance I'm looking for these days. A few super in depth threads on the forum if you search for them.

Sorry to jack the thread but was wondering......

Peeps, do the side trim panels where the seat belts attach just pop off? Are there any hidden screws that need to be removed? I have a bit of a rattle back there somewhere that I want to look for. I thought it was the jack, which was a bit loose, but its coming from the driver side now. Also, the back wall insulation, does it just pull free also? I saw some clips near the seat latch area but didn't want to just pull and tear it apart. Thanks.
