Howdy, Yesterday my F-150 screen displayed "No Key Detected". I replaced both batteries, and it made no difference. I then tried (after an Uber ride home
) the other fob. I was able to start the truck after many attempts. I then drove a while and stopped. It's all back to normal now. What the hell happened?

Thanks for the help! I just did a successful test. I removed the batteries from the fob and then inserted the dead fob into the dock. Truck started like normal. I suggest you all do this, it may come in handy during a real emergency!
Well the question was never answered. What the hell happened?
A procedure to resolve the issue momentarily was given, but that doesn't answer the question. What the hell happened?
Or maybe a better question would be why does this happen with new batteries?
