Default Keep hands on wheel

Is there any way to deactivate this? I drive long straight highways and even holding the wheel it get this pop up and chime almost every few minutes. I almost have to purposely shake the wheel every few minutes to get it off. It is so annoying.

Sounds like something that happens when the Lane Keep Assist is on. Do you have it on intentionally?

Was just going to post about this same thing. Very annoying.

I assume this is tied to the Lane keeping assist. When it is on, and it thinks you are not holding the wheel, you get the warning.

Like the op, I guess I have very steady hands and keep getting this warning.

There is one setting in the menu, but I think that is for the sleepy / coffee cup notification.

I am glad my XLT doesn't have this. Having one nag in the truck is enough!

I read the subject and assumed the OP was pulled over.... I've never heard of this issue, but I only have an XLT.

Sorry I wasn't clear but this is exactly it. I actually love having lane assist and just want to get rid of the damn warning.

Maybe it is possible using Forscan, I don't know. Ask in the Forscan thread. Someone will probably know.
