Who really cares, just everyone be happy......every Ford dealer had the same incentives offered From, thru those Dealer's it's not going to change,Friends and Family is every year I received right at 11,000 of plus a another thousand from my dealership,even if I hadn't I would have still purchased a Ford F 150 Amen And Hallalouya.

Hey y'all. Long, long time lurker. Looking to ditch my 2006 Dodge Dakota that I have had for nearly 10 years and get into an F-150. Talking with a small dealer about an hour away from my house in Florida. 2015 Ingot Silver, Sport, Crew Cab, XL 2.7, FX4 package, Power everything. After a little back and forth I got them down to 33,499 which he said will be $36,800 out the door. Got a nice chunk of cash and my Dakota to trade in which I am not expecting much for. Deal or No?

Edit: forgot to mention MSRP is $42,040

Arizona is hard to get really great deals, best I could find out of 6 dealers was 17% under MSRP on a high loaded 2015 Lariat FX4. Anyone else finding better prices in this area?

Figure I would contribute to this thread since it helped me! Put in an order earlier this week & here is the breakdown;

2016 Lariat 4X4 Screw - 501A / Bucket Seats / Moonroof / Nav

MSRP = $50,415
Invoice = $45,671
Dealer Discount = $2,556
Rebates (standard) = $1,300

Total Price Before Tax, Dealer Fee, Reg = $41,815 (17% off MSRP)

If all goes as planned, I also should qualify at the time of delivery for $500 AQHA rebate which would be $41,315 (18% off MSRP). If I get really lucky, I will also get a brochure with coupon & that will give me at least $750 off (19.5% off MSRP)

I hope this level of detail helps with others since one of the big challenges in this thread was nobody posted itemized breakdowns of dealer discounts vs rebates or the amount off invoice.

Axxion89,

Thanks for posting. If you don't mind, what State are you in? Also, how do you get a brochure with coupon? I've seen that mentioned but haven't see how to get one.

Thanks,

RM

I reside in CT but am purchasing in MD since dealers down there are much more competitive than in the North East. Keep in mind that rebates are based off where you live / where you will register the car & not where you buy it.

Also the Brochure is on Ford's website. There are some links on here if you search to request one. I didn't get one yet but from what people on here say, there is a 50/50 chance you get the coupon & then you need to hope that the coupon is valid for when you are going to buy the truck

how is your dealer discounting 2,500 bucks below invoice just with "dealer discount" that doesn't make sense. They don't even get that much in holdback. I ordered an xlt and the msrp came out to close to yours ill look exact numbers later but msrp was 51k invoice 47,400 and theyre selling to me for 46,600 then minus rebates which are 4,250 bucks right now. so ill pay 42,500 +ttl. I just don't see how your dealer is doing 41k on a lariat without those high rebates?

Dealers have many different ways to make money vs just the profit on the individual transaction. There are volume bonuses & other incentives so depending on the business model for the dealer, they have different strategies. I shopped around at high volume dealers and didn't need to do much back & forth. All the numbers were confirmed with the salesperson & its all in writing.

You should read this whole thread & see some of the numbers people have gotten on similar trucks, they make mine look bad!
