First time posting, been following this forum for quite awhile and looking for some advice.

Trying to get a good deal on a 2016 Lariat 501A. Came across this one (3.5L V6) and the dealer is offering $43,914 (includes $4450 in rebates plus $750 direct offer). MSRP is $54876. Appears to be a pretty good deal to me. I calculated roughly $2k under invoice.

Also came across two 2017 501A 2.7L V6s. Both are identical. MSRP is $53335. First one is priced at $41991. Second is $42991. Neither price includes the $750 direct offer. On the surface looks like really good deals. Until I found out the first has 4800 miles on it and the second 2200. Dealer says they were part of their 'courtesy transport program'. Essentially used to drive customers places and in some cases loaners to the customers. Definitely makes me shy away from them and lean back towards the 2016. Anyone ever purchase one of these types of vehicles?

Appreciate any advice, thanks!

Seems good. I ordered mine, so the only difference between mine and yours is that mine is a 2017. You have a few more options than me (Moonroof, VAN, Sony, Rear Lock, and Sport). I was quoted 46 without rebates or tax. Apparently I live in a high cost area

Just got back from a dealer I went to over the winter. Still says I can order a 2017 Lariat. (Bothers me alot to order a 2017 so close to a 2018...but I need to consider the lower price)
Fully loaded 502A supercab, 3.5, tech package, moonroof, max tow etc. 59600 MSRP. Got them to 55800 OTD. Low offer on the trade in.

1250 Bonus cash and 1250 Ford Financing. I thought there was 2550 from the build page, but I guess one is for a lease and he's also not showing the $300 Ecoboost rebate. I plan to refinance to get rid of that APR.
He says he will not lock in rebates on an order. Told him I wouldn't sign the papers. We shall see. Also, anyone know anything about a loyalty rebate? He said it didn't exist.

Still shopping it around this week. Trying to get 53k OTD at least. Any chance?

Really wish that private offer came through.

Not sure the $750 private off applies when you order a truck anyway--pretty sure they say something along the lines of a "vehicle in dealer stock yada yada"

Hard to know with otd pricing. License fees? Sales tax? Dealer fees?

They didn't break down each of the fees. Since I knew I was coming back I didn't bug them about it. 7% sales tax, title and registration is $108 here and assuming 350 for a doc fee.

My ideal price spreadsheet had 53607 for invoice minus holdback. Sales tax would be about 3575, 108 for tax and title 350 for doc fee.
...57640 - 2500 rebates = 55140. Nowhere near 53 OTD and I've used up all of my weapons haha.

It qualifies. Have the dealer lock in your rebates at the time you place your order with the "Incentive Protection Program".
