Default Jumped Time

So i have a 2017 Eco Boost that i bought new. I have always changed to oil at or around 4k to 5k miles. I also took the truck in for service at 10k and 40k with no issues. I drive from VA to NC twice a month for work so i'm on the interstate a lot. So now i have 51150 miles on the truck in two years. Still ran great and i'm getting 22 MPG on average. So this last time coming home ,i made it with no issues but after getting home i went back out to get oil for my next oil change and my truck stated to shake at the stop light, then again at NAPA. Now check engine light is on,,,, now blinking. Had it towed to Ford dealer. They told me it jumped time and that's it. So now i had to show proof that i did oil changes, in witch i did. They say it need to be approved by Ford before it will be covered under the 5/60000 miles warranty. I know i'm going on and on but i'm pissed this is my daily driver and i spent a lot on this truck. Can any give some advice or has anyone been in the same boat with these engines. Now i'm stuck with no ride and dealer said they do not give rental cars for something like this.
Thanks for any insight

if it jumped time could be a cam phaser issue or a failed chain tensioner. Be interesting to hear the actual diagnosis when they teardown.

It could just be a misfire, especially if the check engine light is flashing under load.

this is true.

If the truck skipped time, i'd figure on major damage.

This is why I have my oil changed at Ford dealers every 3000-3500 miles. "Ok, we need proof of oil changes"...."LOOK IT UP IN YOUR OWN DAMN SYSTEM"
