Yep. There's an active guy on here somewhere that recently installed one. He loves his. He'll be along shortly to chime in I'm sure.

I see they have a pedal max for the pedal lag. But I don't think it changes anything performance wise.

Yeah, talking to the JMS guys they claim power gains of about 50hp & 75tq with the BoostMax. I've looked at independent dyno runs from people who have it, & the numbers are pretty spot on. The PedalMax just eliminates the throttle lag only (not worth another $300 in my book). However the BoostMax sounds like it might be worth giving a try.....no reflashing of the PCM to void warranty in the event of a "detonation".....LoL. Very respectable power gains for a plug & play application. I've found them for as low as $250, but average cost is about $300.

I have installed both the JMS BoostMax & PedalMax - Here is a link to my post which I plan to provide continual updates to as I log more miles: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/insta...ressed-350910/

Right now I have ~ 300 miles on the BoostMax and have been very impressed with the performance gains from the product (so far I can only speak to 93 octane). I love the flexibility of being able to dial the boost up or down on the fly depending on the situation (e.g. Using different octane, towing, etc.).

Gas milage hasn't improved but honestly I've had a hard time keeping my foot out of it. Next fill-up I plan to drive more "normal." I know of one other member (@tenacious) on here who also has it installed and has provided great feedback if you do a search.

Let us know your thoughts if you do pull the trigger.

Where did you find it for $250? I've been considering the sct x4 but I don't have anymore friends in the service dept at my local Ford dealer if something goes wrong.

For $300, that's getting close to the cost of a canned tune
