For what it's worth. The IWEs are the same from 04-15. In 2016 they changed

you need to look at 2015 parts

Does anyone know what actually changed between the 04-15 and 16-up models? Im tempted to pick up the dorman locked hub kit because its locally available and advanced auto has a good return policy. I just need to see if my local dealer has the correct one in stock as well so I can compare the two. I wonder if its something as simple as a spline count difference?

Edit: So i ended up buying both a new IWE from the dealer and the Dorman delete kit from advanced and I'm struggling to determine any reason why these two parts do not overlap in fitment. It appears on the correct one for my truck the rubber gasket between the IWE and the hub is a little more substantial, about 1mm larger OD and about 1mm deeper too. So the correct one might seal a little better on the knuckle? I was hoping to try the swap today but got busy helping move some furniture. Attached are some photos to help illustrate what I found.

Just a note of my experience.....my driver side iwe was grinding, pulled the solenoid connector till I could get home to check it out. When I did my vacuum checks it was actually the passenger side that had the torn actuator,the resulting loss of vacuum caused the driver side to grind. Just my experience. I suggest doing full troubleshooting of the system.

If my IWEs ever go out I’m installing eliminators.

Yeah you could buy a replacement that has a lifetime warranty, but how many times do you want to have to do that then still pay for an alignment too?

In hind site, I wish I’d just done the eliminators when I installed my level kit.

Anybody wishing to install an eliminator kit can save hassle of tear down and assembly by removing the electrical connector at the solenoid.
And it's free.

Looks like I'm going to attempt the install this weekend. Worst case if they don't work ill have new OEM ones on hand. Fingers crossed

Biggest thing is to make sure the teeth are lined up before you torque down the spindle nut, or, you'll just be back in there.
