Iwe problem
I have 2018 f150 limited having noise coming from drivers front wheel. Brought it in for service but they did not fix it because they cannot hear the problem so I told them to fix it anyway which was a charge of $585 for the valve check valve and two solennoids it Is making the sounds even more Scraping noise any other ideas
Just one: punctuation.
I'm having a hard time following. Your truck is under warranty, I assume. Did you request (and pay for) the dealer to repair/replace stuff that they told you wasn't broken?

no They said that these parts will fix it but they can put it on the warrantee if they don’t hear the problem so since I am leaving to Florida in two days I decided to pay for the parts and labor
Can you duplicate the noise now? I'd take it again, and demand that money back. Wonder if they couldn't even change a freaking valve correctly. I'm going to order a valve and change it myself, just in case. And probably buy 2, to have a spare. Hey, how many miles on your truck, and what's your build date? Sorry to hear about your troubles. If you have to leave, put the switch in 4A to avoid grinding the IWE gears to an early death. However, I hear if you drive with A4, you'd then grind the transfer case clutch to an early death. Hmmm. Hopefully somebody more knowledgeable on this can chime in to know which poison is better to choose if you have to. Good luck.
VERY common problem in the Raptors. Replace the vacuum switch under the hood. $9 part on Amazon and takes less than 1 minute. Buy a couple and keep spares in your glovebox.
Put it in 4A so as not to damage the IWE until after you replace the switch (especially if its still grinding). The problem only occurs in 2WD.
(Yes, I know, very expensive trucks and we're led to have to buy cheap plastic parts and replace them ourselves...but that's Ford QC and Ford Service for ya).
There's even a TSB out for it now. TSB 18-2273
