Picked truck up from dealer today. They replaced both 4wd actuators in front end under warranty, said neither were holding vacuum. Drive home was problem free, tried 4hi and all.

Hopefully that was the problem. If it starts again you know it's likely something else.

And good chance that something else would be the check valve.

Dan,
Glad you got it resolved.

The best $10 insurance you will ever buy is to replace that check valve right now.

I'd love to replace the check valve right now but unfortunately I'm currently stuck home in a blizzard at the jersey shore lol. No working on truck today

Could be the IWE seal, cracked hose, bad solenoid valve, and my money is on the check valve.
Many dealers keep throwing on new IWE's, and don't find out what the root cause is. My dealer was guilty of that, until I showed them what the problem really was. For some reason they'd rather pay for a new IWE and labor, than the $14 valve from their own parts dept.
To be fair, the checkvalve fails intermittently, so I can see somewhat why they don't find the problem.
Do yourself a favor, and just buy one, Amazon has OEM, YG360 checkvalves for less than $10. Next time it grinds, replace the valve, a 5 minute job.
Is the YG360 checkvalve part number for the 2015 and newer trucks?

Yes, that's the right one. Amazon will say it doesn't work, but it's the exact valve I bought over the counter at my dealer.

K thanks. Parts guy at my dealership also said there is another valve right up against the firewall with a part number 7L12-9H465-B. He said it's common for that part to fail - apparently water can get in it and create issues. He quoted me $31 for the 7L12..... part and $20 for the YG360 check valve (Canadian prices). Should a guy get both, has anyone needed both? It seems like the cheaper YG360 is helping to cure the symptoms of a few trucks on here.
