Interesting concept for the XL / XLT trucks without Sync3. I'd be interested how it holds up over bumpy conditions though.

No mention of running power to it. Might be an issue if you are a long road trip.

It probably has an 12v-5v stepdown in the dash. I did that in a previous car, albeit with a nexus 7 2013.

Its really cool, but the amount of integration is sky-high and its expensive.

you probably could file the bezel around the lighting port to be able to plug cord into the usb port in your truck.

pretty good idea, could use some improvements like less shiny bezel.
