I went with the AS 2.5 front level with there 3" block in the rear. I wanted to keep I slight rake this time around, due to my 07 I had the AS 2" front level only and when towing my boat it had a squat to it. There is a 2" difference between the front and back which is a little more then I wanted ( my dumb *** miss calculated ) but I'm completely happy with it. Im also running the BFG KO2s 285/65/20 As for mileage honestly at least according to gauge I'm averaging between 17-18 mpg and more or less all rural driving (admittedly I'm a pansy driver ). Air dam also removed
This give me hope. What were you getting for mpg before? I'm currently 19 ish mixed driving on average. If I can still pull 17-18. I'll be

Yes and sometimes it would tickle 20. I'm use to 11-12 with my 07 w/ 5.4 - 3.73 rear the only time I ever saw anything over that was on a trip at highway speeds and basically no load and I filled up on the highway lmao so I'm extremely happy with current numbers

I did a 2.5" level with 275/65/20s and it "looked" nose high. It wasn't so says the tape measure but it looked like it was. I added a 3" rear block and some longer travel shocks. MPGs went down about 1MPG after the tires.

I do think on stock rims and tires a 2.5" would look nose high.

Yeah I plan on leaving the stock wheels/tires on for now so hopefully the 2" AS front level won't give it the front high look

A couple noob questions, forgive me. When leveling (I am contemplating 1.5 or 1.75) will that not reduce the front shock travel as well?

If a more level look is desired but don't necessarily need the truck "raised" could one not just put in a smaller rear block? Wouldn't need front end alignment this way either correct? Seems perhaps an easier, more cost efficient approach.

Thanks

I think so but don't know for sure. I think it's been discussed on here before.

Keep in mind, 2WD do not have blocks. 4WD have A 1.25" oem block but about a 3" rake so I don't think it would get you all the way level.

Sure, you can just remove the rear block, mine was 1.25", might not get you to level but it will help.

Here's a look at my XLT 302a with a 2.5" Rough Country Level Kit and 285/65/20 BFG KO2's on stock PVD rims.
Measurements from ground to fender are 41" (front) and 40 7/8" (back).
