Default Intro and dashcam question.

Hey y’all..
Didn’t want to post in new member section as this is where I’ll be spending most of my time.
New guy here, came from 17 DCLB Tacoma that I’ve had for 3 years, didn’t really like driving for a couple reasons, first fitting 3 kids in a back became a hassle, second, drivetrain sucks.
Ended up buying 18 LeadFoot Lariat with 2.7.
Drove 34hrs non-stop from Imlay City, MI to WA state, ended up being roughly 2500 miles.
anyway trip went great, truck drove perfect.
Bought Fuel Wheels and General Grabber ATX tires, love the setup. Also bought BDX Tuner from 5star for a power bump, but also to refine shifting.
Last weekend leveled the front via spacers to get rid of rake and also get rid of mild rubbing when backing up, after which had it aligned at Ford. No too happy with the extra added unsprung weight due to new wheel combo and am looking to get Bilstein 5100’s to help dampen extra weight.
Over the upcoming weekend I’ll be installing oe brake controller, new Ford GT spark plugs(been experimenting with plugs/gaps) and replacing transfer case fluid(Ford tech YouTube guy convinced me).
That’s about it, really liking truck and so far it’s been solid.
I’m a car guy by nature so I don’t mind doing my own work should something go wrong.

Some obligatory pics of driving home and also of truck and mods.

After mods

Now, about the dash cam question.
I have BlackVue D900S and am trying to figure out how to wire it. I’m my Tacoma I used 12v cigarette outlet, which was down below around shifter area, in F150 the 12v is kinda on the dashboard, which is not ideal. Is there a creative way to wire it? I’d prefer not to hardwire as I don’t want to splice wires, but if that’s the only option, I’m not against it.
Anyway, thank you for reading and appreciate the feedback as it pertains to dash cam wiring.

Welcome. If you search there are many, many threads about wiring the dash cam from the mirror wiring.

This is what I have used when installing a BlackVue dash camera. It’s nice because you can take advantage of the parking mode and adjust the time you want to record.

Thanks guys, I’ll do some more searching.
Mike, unfortunately that OBD adapter has been discontinued. I’d love to have one, but they’re no more due to liability reasons iirc.

When you leveled it, did you adjust the headlamps?
Thanks in advance...

"Bought Fuel Wheels and General Grabber ATX tires,"

Could you tell me the details on Fuel Wheels? Size and offset ? buy online or brick and mortar store?
