Interior Lights randomly coming on
I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this....
2015 F150 Lariat FX4
Yesterday all my interior lights would come on, and would not shut off. (as if the door had been opened, or I had hit the interior switch on the far left).
I was unable to turn them off. They eventually went out by themselves, but then came back on randomly thru the day and night. Occasionally they also flickered slightly when they did turn off.
The only contributing factor I can see is it had started to rain hard for awhile. If I had to guess, I would say some water got somewhere it should not have and caused a short.
It is currently at the dealer being looked at. But of course they said they cannot recreate the issue. I am trying to convince them to look a little closer for any water penetration (since it was yesterday I doubt it has had a chance to fully dry out). So far they can just say there are no fault codes.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? And if so, what was the resolution? A little concerned, as the cab really lights up at night, and makes it very hard to drive. So I feel I need to be prepared with some duct tape to cover the lights if it happens again while driving at night.
Thanks

This just happened to me tonight. 2015 Plat, FX4. Only the rear interior lights came on, and will not turn off no matter what I try. Did your issue ever get resolved?
I'm in SoCal where it was 97 degrees with 8% humidity today, so rain/moisture is NOT my issue!

Wow. I am bad at responding to my own thread. Didnt see those previous responses come in. Sorry guys.
I took it into the dealer and they EVENTUALLY fixed it. Actually took a few times, so it was kind of annoying. I did discover that one of the buttons on the overhead overrides all the lights and forces everything off. So I was able to function that way for awhile.
Yes, I have the extra large moon roof.
I think they replaced some switch, as they needed some new hardware. They also did a new system install on the Sync 2. Havent had the problem since.
