That’s exactly why I change my oil every 3500 to 4000 miles! Good luck to all you guys who think I’m wasting my money by not letting my truck tell me when to change.

I change my oil every 5K as well.

I love his videos. One of the most knowledgeable techs I have come across.

Same here!
I've been watching his videos for years & reference them quite a bit.

Never anymore than 4.5-5k here with full synthetic MC 5w30. 3000-3500 when it’s all towing miles.

This is gonna get good:

"Engineers know best"
"I follow some of the manual and ignore the parts i dont like, heres my opinion"
"Waste of money but i pay more for Motorcraft and pay a kid $90 to change mine"
"I use mine to get groceries twice a week and have 10k miles and ive never had a problem following the computer"
"I saw this one guy that got 400k so if i copy what he did (minus his driving habits) itll work for me"

While I'm in the camp of sub 5000 mile oil change intervals, I have a co-worker with an ecoboost edge doing 10k mile intervals with a full synthetic and his blackstone lab results come back great each time. We talked about this video yesterday funny enough.

Im assuming Ford uses the Blend when going to the dealer based on price. You guys that use the Full synthetic, have you ever noticed at 4,000 or more miles, your down a quart ?? Just curious. 2 previous cars using Full Synthetic, when at 4,000 Im down a quart. As a result I switched to the blend. No issues. Weird I guess.
