Never thought that would happen. Six to seven hours labor plus new upper dash part. Serious cure for what appears to be purely a cosmetic issue. Kudos to Ford. Unless mine (2018) gets a lot worse (the separation part would be my tipping point) than it is, I do not think I will risk a sloppy job or a recurrence (unless of course the new part isn't prone to the fault). Hopefully after folks here get the replacement they will report back.

new trucks on the lot already warped. If there is not an updated part, then what is the point. I will just wait until I need a windshield and then either glue it down or use 3M tape strip under the warp.

Mine is not terrible yet, but I'll wait til a few people say the replacement materials are better before I let a dealership tear my dash apart. I hate rattles.

This has been a known problem for some time now,Its not hurting anything,Like stated I wouldn't let the dealer pull my dash apart,You don't know what's not going to work
when you get it back, Plus its probably going to warp again make sure you use a Windshield Sun blocker so the sun rays don't beat down on it

TSB applies to 2019 models also. Makes me wonder what the difference could be if 2019's are still messed up.
