Default Installing 3" MBRP

Anyone put one of these on yet? I just ordered one for my 2016 today. Is there any cutting necessary on a CCSB?

Cut depends on cab length. I have the pre-passenger tire kit in 304 stainless version on my RCSB 5.0. I like it.

Exhaust is on, it was pretty easy. I spent more time taking the factory exhaust off than I did bolting on the new one. With a CCSB there is no cutting necessary, I didn't even use the extension pipe. Sounds good with very little drone, we'll see how she sounds when it breaks in. Nice to actually hear something from the 3.5 as opposed to it being dead silent

I'm noticing a bit of resonance in the truck when it's under load. do they make a resonator I can install in front of the muffler?

I'm running the MBRP S5253304 SS Cat Back and R1013 Resonator installed in the stock location. It's a great combo.

Best price on the R1013 @ http://performancetruckproducts.com/...0-overall-t304 be sure to get the MBRP discount code.

When installing the resonator you will need two 3" clamps. I had one leftover from the Cat Back install and purchased another from Autozone.

If your running these mbrp systems on an eco boost they sound like Honda civics with fart cans on them. I know this because I have one laying on the floor. The resonator does nothing.

I agree. If I had a Ecoboost I would use that money towards something else besides exhaust, probably a tune since they seem to give good gains for the Ecoboost.
