I'm taking delivery of my truck today and I'm going to order a kit capable of up to 3" of lift, likely the Boss kit for a good compromise of cost and function for my basic needs, and throw on some 34" or 35" tires. Can/Should I order the parts my self and pay a basic suspension & alignment shop to do the install, or am I best served to I find a local offroad performance shop to perform the install (a little more cost I'm sure)? OR, do I need to take it into the Ford dealership to have it done for warranty purposes, and because they'll need to recalibrate the computer anyways...will the dealership even do it?
