New member here! What a great community. I've been lurking for a while but it's time for my first post. Trying to get some help installing the keyless entry keypad. My XL has keyless entry already and the keypad is the Ford one. I've tried to program it both ways (turn the ignition back and forth 8 times, or 6 times) and I just can't get the truck to go into the "learn" mode.

Maybe the procedure is different for 2015 vehicles. Any suggestions?

 

Just wanted to follow up on this thread for those that need help later on down the line. The keypads have to be installed by the dealer. The old method of on/off with the ignition switch does not work for the 2015's.

Also, do NOT throw away the plastic bag that the keypad comes in. They need the serial numbers off it for the install.
