I tried a million things to get ForSCAN going. I uninstalled the version I had and installed the latest. Doing it that made itntonwhere I couldn't even connect. I tried over and over and over. At some point, after switching the M/S can to H/S can switch (i went back and forth trying to see if I was doing something read), I finally connected to the vehicle, but itnonly picked up some of the modules and it never prompted me to switch to MS can. So the calibrate longitude sensor option was no longer even there on service options. After that, I could not connect again. I checked the fuses for the datalink and all were good.
I have an OBD bluetooth reader that I modified with a switch to be able to read M/S can. It has always worked for me. I used it with this same comouter about 3 months ago to program the OEM power running boards I installed. It gets power, as the light is on. I looked on the forscan forums and potwntial solutuons are all over the place and some seem to be beyond my capailites.
I'm just very flustered. I have been chasing this drifting/steering wheel issue for months now and today I thought I might finally have a solution and now this happens!
Try the following with your adapter with the toggle switch:
1. go into FORScan settings, connection tab and change "MS-CAN Support" to "HS/MS Switch"
2. connect to your truck again in FORScan but click no when it brings up your VIN profile (the toggle switch needs to be in the HS-CAN position when you connect)
it should then find a few modules and then prompt you to flip the toggle switch on your adapter and find the rest of the modules
3. if it finds all modules then you can save this new VIN profile and use it on all subsequent connection attempts

Thanks for the reply! But I actually tried all of that yesterday as well and no dice. ForSCAN says the changes to the settings won't take until the next time I connect to vehicle. Since I can't connect to vehicle anymore, the changes never took. I went ahead and ordered the
from Amazon last night. I am hoping maybe my BAFX OBD reader just went bad. I opened it up and noticed some of the places where I had soldered to rewire for the toggle switch looked a little dirty (maybe light corrosion). These were the M/S and H/S can connections, so that might be what was causing the issue. I trued cleaning them but in the attempt I actually broke one of the wires off (I guess the solder wasn't good to begin with, which might also have been part of the issue). I don't have a soldering kit (used the one at work), so I won't be able to try again and see if cleaning it fixes the issue.
Hopefully Amazon gets it here quickly, but with COVID the 2-day shipping said April 20, and with standard and economy it said April 9-20.
I tried to do it today but I immediately get stuck after the first step. Any help? @Livnitup
did you ever get this working? I have forscan but can't find the option to calibrate under abs only have module reset and service bleed under service procedures. Am I looking in the wrong spot?
In case anyone is looking it's mentioned by Livinitup in POST # 11693 of the FORscan thread. A few days ago I saw a mention by him in another forum that it could be found by opening up the steering wheel icon in FORscan while hooked up.

I disabled it after Wicked ace directed me to a thread where he mentioned he disabled it through forscan. I was having issues after I did bilsteins and got 2 alignments and steering was off center and would just wander like crazy. So I went into PSCM and went to line 730 01 02 for pull drift compensation. Have to change the value to 0 as follows
From this 730-01-02 xxxx xxx1 xxxx
To this 730-01-02 xxxx xxx0 xxxx
1=enabled 0=disabled
Felt the difference right away. Then a month later I got curious and turned it back to its original value but also did the Calibrate Longitudinal Sensor procedure as well so I am not sure if re-enabling the pull/drift compensation allowed it to relearn since just disconnecting battery doesnt change it or if the calibration procedure corrected it or it may have been both. From what others have posted just disabling it and re-enabling right after doesnt work. Need to drive with it off for couple days then try turning it back for it too relearn. Can also just leave it off as well if you wish.
im planing on doing this as my truck wonders after fox 2.0s I’m going to do exactly like you mentioned. Turn the drift comp off then later on turn it back on and Calibrate the Longitudinal Sensor. My question is. How do I Calibrate the Longitudinal Sensor?
