Default Info on a good daily setup

Hello
if yall wouldnt mind sharing some light or sharing some info in regards of a good setup for daily use that wont cause much problems.
Or if yall have ran into any problems in regards of rubbing or just suspension issues.

The following items are items i am considering for purchase for my truck (2017 fx4 2.7 crewcab)
fabtech 2.5 inch lifted struts with rear shocks (comes with 2 inch control arms)
part # t538876-b

black rhino wheels (17 x 9.5 / 6mm offset)
part # t536863g15

mickey thompson baja boss a/t (33" 285/70r17)

now a peer of mine did inform me that if i want flush with very little buldge on tires coming out from wheel well i should go 295/70r17

what do yall think ? Or what do yall run that has worked for you and caused no issues ?

-there's definitely better options than fabtech (king, fox, bilstein).
-285/70 will look small on that truck, 285/75 is a true 33 and looks much better.
-get a 17x8.5 wheel for that tire width.
-those wheels are definitely...unique.

I just installed the same size tire today, on a 0 offset wheel it pokes out about 1" at the top. Here's a pic with a 2" level.

So quick question.
Is fabtech bad ? Why recommend king and fox over fabtech ?
What are pros and cons ? Is it personal prefernace or just better overall performance ?

To - galaxy wide

see now that looks nice.
Where did you get your wheels from ? I personlly love that bronze-ish color.
But havent been able so find many options.
Also what tires did you go with and why ?
Ive had nitto ridge grapplers and many people have informed me not to go with that brand.
That they finish too quick but i have never had that issue.

Thanks! I absolutely love the look, goes perfectly with the grey body color and really I can't stop looking at it

I got my wheels directly from Method Racing, they were backordered from most vendors but in stock with the manufacturer. Your mileage may vary, but I got a 15% off code after leaving a set of wheels in my cart for a few days - using the code compensated for losing free shipping and installation at TireRack, plus I got them in 4 days rather than 4 weeks! The bronze looks amazing in person, I was a little apprehensive since pictures seemed to vary wildly in tint but they turned out exactly how I wanted.

I picked the Cooper AT3 4S's because I've had an excellent experience with an older version of them on a different vehicle, and they're generally very well reviewed. Plus 3 peaks, good treadwear and reasonable cost. I went with P285/70R17 since that was the largest size I could get in a P-metric tire and I wanted to avoid the harsh ride, weight and cost of an LT tire (I don't tow or haul anything heavy, so loaded stability wasn't important to me). So far they've been great for the 50 miles or so that I've put on them - minimal increase in tire noise, great snow traction this morning and the ride is definitely better than the stock 20's. Highly recommend them!

fox, king, bilstein just build a superior product. Seriously, look at a 285/75 so it doesn't look like you skipped leg day. They're available in a load range c.

This is the look that I'm going for. I don't have a lift, but I am leveled with Bilsteins, which suits me just fine. I do want to fill up the wheel wells, however, and this tire / wheel size fits the bill. Looks great! I to, like the Bronze wheels with the Magnetic Gray paint. I have the same truck, pictured above, except in the XLT Sport trim.

Here's my 285/70-17's on 9.0" wide wheels with +25 offset:

Your wheel width, offset, and tire size will push your wheel out 0.984 inches further than mine, with the sidewall sticking out 1.18 inches more with a 295 tire.

2" front level, method 703 0 offset, 285/75-17, no rubbing whatsoever even with chains packed with mud.
