Anyone getting better fuel economy with 2015 3.5 ecoboost over previous years?

That's about what I am seeing so far. I only have 1500mi so far and I remember a good size jump at about 5000mi on my 13 so it may get better with time and miles.

I've driven 500mi so far mainly in the city and I'm getting 12.7. Hopefully I'll get better city mpg in the future. My 2004 V-8 gets 9.8 mpg.

You might have improved your mileage but did you improve the cost per mile?

Who knows I was going to order a KR 150 but was almost 5000 cheaper to buy a 15 lariat 250. Some people may talk maintenance but these new diesels are pretty efficient

The point MadocHandyman was trying to make:

Divide the cost of fuel by MPG and you'll see that your $ per mile is more than a 3.5 EB.

Nobody mentioned maintenance costs.

I hope the Kool-Aid had a nice flavor.

My 2015 Ecoboost is my first. I'm at 2500 miles and 50-60% highway I'm seeing a general 18.5-19.5 mpg. I've seen as good as 20.5.

By comparison my 07 5.4 would get 15-16 in this weather, and a best ever highway of 18.5.

I expect my highway of 20.5 to increase slightly with better weather ( we've been below 0 for a couple weeks now), and perhaps as it breaks in.

FWIW my truck is a 4x4, Crew, 6.5 foot bed, 3.55 rear gear w/18" tires. Fuel mileage is very subjective.
