Default I'm Back!!!!

Hello everyone!! What an emotional roller-coaster it has been over the last year and change. I ended up having to trade in my 15 caribou scab because we had an unexpected surprise!
About 4 months into my wife's pregnancy, her tummy (and baby) were literally on the dash airbags. I wasn't comfortable with that, I didn't need to get into an accident and have the airbags go off and hurt (or worse) my unborn child.
I ended up trading her in for a 2016 Explorer ecoboost with only 38k miles and what a freaking nightmare. Turbo repairs, transmission rebuild, p.t.u. replaced, new water pump, lower control arms, door lock actuator, oil leak from the pan, e.t.c. over the course of 1 year.
I had the opportunity to get back into an F-150 and I took it as fast as possible last week.
There are alot out there but I was being picky on what I wanted ::cough and could afford cough::.
I ended up driving 10 hours 600 miles one way to get her and OM MY GOD IM SOOO MUCH HAPPIER!!!
2015 F150 Screw. This thing has more room than the explorer, better gas mileag, and runs a hell of a lot better..
(rattle from heat shield I think,, didn't notice it on test drive, and wife heard engine tick. I can't remember if my old scab had that or not).
Talk to you guys soon
Pat

Definitely love the center console over the old jump seat that the scab had.

Love the color.... window tint this spring. Too cold in west mass to do it.

Needs a tonneau cover, suggestions are welcome.

Low mileage as you can see.

Congratulations. I bought a 2017 Screw short bed about 6 months ago. I got a Tyger roll-up cover (it was cheap). It works pretty well for the type. I knew I was going to carry big/tall loads and didn’t want the tri-fold rigid cover blocking the back window. There is some slight fluttering at speed, but I believe all soft covers are the same in that regard. All soft covers use aluminum clamp-on rails w/Velcro to hold the cover down/tight.

Welcome back, check out Gator covers, good quality for a cheap price. I have their soft trifold on my truck.

Awesome find on your new truck!! Been running a Lomax trifold with the urethane finish only about 4 days, but love the fit and finish. Got it from Lucas at Truck Alterations for way less than retail. Whatever cover you decide on, give send him a message on here for a quote, you won't regret it!

Why was her belly on the dash in a scab but not in a screw? Same dimensions for the front row in both.

children in the back seat. So we could only have the seat pushed back so far. The screw has a ton more room in the cab it seems. I have my seat adjusted for me (6" and change), and I have plenty of room in the back directly behind my seat. I couldn't fit in the back in my old scab... also not sure if there is a difference but my scab was a "work truck" .
LOL. Plus both children were long and almost 11lbs at birth (and yes I get reminded of that by my wife), and my wife isn't tall, so baby was showing a lot earlier than 3rd trimester
