Default Icon Upper Arm Bushing Ripped

Hey so I installed the Boss trail suspension pack 3 which includes the Icon upper control arms. Turns out the bushing on the left side of my upper control arm ripped so that's the squeaking sound I was hearing..

Normal arm with bushings

The left side is ripped.

Ripped bushing..

My question is, does anyone know if the bushings are universal?? I checked Icons website and they didn't have just the bushing for sale..any advice?

Get in touch with the vendor purchased from and ask to have it (the UCA) covered under warranty.

i'd give Icon a call to see if they can send you a replacement. I would think the OEM would be the same diameter, but Icon probably uses a Urethane bushing.

Was it tightened properly? If too much play it could have ripped.

Yea that's the thing I'm not sure. It could have been from when the shop installed the kit...

did Icon replaced the part? I installed mine yesterday and the drivers side is squeaking like hell, the bushings look ok but the noise is at any speed or by just moving the truck.

I have Icon stage 4

Icon didn't replace it, I had to buy a complete set of 4 all new bushings. They said it could have been installed improperly...

I'll see what they have to say on Monday, mine doesn't seem ripped. So after installing new ones the noise stoped?
