Love the traction control in 2WD mode on my F150, It makes starting from a dead stop on patchy ice easier.
I do miss the manual transfer case and manual Warn hubs on my old Jeep. I really have no need for "shift on the fly" or the associated electronics and vacuum assisted hardware.

I keep a torque wrench and socket set in the truck. Torque to spec, tell them re-torque after 20 miles, then don't give a hoot because you parked behind them so they couldn't get your license plate.
