Default I’ve been testing the new Morimoto Blackout headlights

Just wanted to give you guys an update with pics and performance. I’ve had these headlights about a week now and they are outstanding.
Ive had the Anzo, Factory Led’s and now these.
Here is the break down comparison
Morimoto vs LED
first thing is price and performance. The Morimoto have a much brighter DRL and the sequential switchback feature is very nice.
The light output is better in my opinion compared to the Factory LED.
No wire harness for the Morimoto headlight is a huge plus as well.

Factory LED’s are nice. Did not have any issues other than a wire harness issue that was resolved quickly

If you guys want more pics let me know
obviously the ANZO are much cheaper option but the quality is no where near the Factory or Morimoto.

Are the first two pics of the daytime running lights? If so how do they wire up? On my 2016 the low beams are the DRL and as I understand it with FORSCAN you can change that to the fog lights or parking lights. How do the Morimoto's get the outline to be the DRLs?

What's better than 4 headlights shining down the road? Well 8 of course!
I wonder how that plays out with legality when specified number of lights are stated.

My wifes Acura TLX has 5 on each head light. Three on each side light up for low beams and all ten are on for the high.

its complete plug & play so I don’t know how it’s wired. All I did was plug them in the Factory sockets

I am sure they are brighter and perform better than the factory LEDs, but man I just can't get past the looks. Which is a bummer because they do look to be bright as hell.

I pre ordered the Morimotos for my 2018 XLT with stock halogens. I had to specify when I placed the order what t type of lighting my truck has. As I understand it the New Morimoto LED Head lights will be plug and play for existing halogen set ups too.

Curious if those who pre-ordered the lights with the white LED stripe are disappointed that they released the orange LED strips afterwards. I am having a tough time making up my mind.
