I would say you're fairly close on the 10k estimate, mine was just shy of that, I had a Malibu make a left turn in front of me at about 40 mph. My bags didn't blow either, body shop said the computer makes the call on whether it will be beneficial or not anymore

Of course without having the truck here to actually see it.. Looks like 20k to me. Fender, fender support, wheel well liner, wiring harness, headlight assembly, looks like the rad support is damaged, hood, grille, active shutter system, rh mirror, rad valence, headlamp support bracket.
Not exaftly how the air bag system works. The impact doesn’t need to hit a sensor. The sensors detect deceleration (technically negative acceleration). So just body panels crushing would not cause a high enough rate of negative acceleration to set off the air bags.

Took mine to the body shop, was estimated at about $1,600 (including labor). Estimator agreed that the deer couldn't have picked a better spot to hit, everything is bolt off/on, no paint or other body work.

I searched diligently for one that would NOT interfere with the forward sensors (Collision Avoidance) and they are not available for the 2017 model. I called several makers and that was the common answer.

I live where the city folks have moved out and feed the da deer which tends to cost me about $4K a year in vehicle damage. One did $3900 worth of damage and I was SITTING STILL!

Looks like a couple of patches in the drywall right in front of your bumper.

My bad, I guess.

Luverne has a sensor relocation kit available for the Prowler Max bar. Think Ranch Hand offers one also.
