Default Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator (Tire Size Index!)

Hey All,

As we know, the Hypertech Speedo Calibrator isn't 100% accurate in the sense that you flash a 33" tire size when you install 33" tires. I'm starting this thread in hopes of consolidating what "flashed size" you used for your tire size.

Format: Hypertech = Tire Size (Tire Brand & Model)
example: 32.75" = 295/70R18 (Cooper A/T3)

285/65/20 KO2's (34.6") with 33" plugged in to my Hypertech. It's bang on verified with hand held Garmin GPS, and I checked it and rechecked because I'm OCD.

It's not a tune, nor is this the proper thread.

I am running 35x12.5x17 BFG K02's and my tire size is programmed to 33.5 and my speedometer is dead on with GPS.

The Hypertech calculation is going by actual measured diameter of the tire and not what the advertised size is on the side of your tire. That's why some people think it's "off".
