Default Hypertech question

Folks, those of you running the hypertech for speedo correction, do you have to leave it plugged in to the OBDII, or can I make the change, unplug it and stow it somewhere out of sight? It's not the most estheticaly pleasing device and I like the clean lines of my interior. I bought a new Edge CS2 and installed it yesterday and I'm really not pleased with it, so it's going back. I really don't care to tune honestly so all I'm really looking for is a speedo correction. Thanks in advance!

You can program and unplug hyprtech the unit remembers all the stock programs and you can plug it in and return to stock settings at any time.
