Default Hyper blinker on one side

ok, so after I did the led tail light swap I had this issue because I crossed two wires. On the outside of the truck the signals were regular speed but the passenger side blinks fast inside the truck. I fixed the wire and it was ok for months. I then did the headlight swap a few months later and everything was still ok. Now as of today, Its doing it again but not every time. Anyone know what I should check for and why this happened? A resistor going bad? And front or rear?

Check all your turn signals and make sure they are working. It may be as simple as a bulb that has burned out.

+2 on the b/o bulb.

Edit: Oh! "led". Nevermind.

I used to have the resistors before this could be corrected using FORScan. This happened to me once. The problem was one of the quick-connect splices had cut all the way through one of the wires, making a bad connection. One of the reasons I don't like to use those types of connectors. I was glad when I was able to remove the resistors.

There are no bulbs..it's all leds. All work.
2nd, I do have resistors front and back. But I soldered all connections, no quick connects. Forescan will fix this?

Yes, You can disable the lamp outage for the front and the rear turns in FORScan and it eliminates the hyperflash. I was so happy when I was able to remove those resistors!

I bet a soder broke off. Or the resistor touched and melted some wiring...

Had the same issue and it ended up being an issue with the truck's computer.

Nothing is the same once you mess with stuff. Happens over and over and I still modify (:
you can do a lot with forescan I just hope it's easy to use. If so I'll get one to fix this and do other things with it.

FORScan seems a little intimidating at first glance, but it is easy. Take a look at the first page of the thread and check the tutorial that Livnitup made, along with some other videos and info. You can enable a lot of things with it that is already built into the truck system, depending on your trim level. Kind of makes you wonder why Ford didn't give you an option to have these in the first place.

You will definitely be able to be rid of the resistors, make all sorts of other lighting changes, make your mirrors auto-fold (if you have power mirrors), etc.
