I have the 101A XL SCREW. I had to add the heated mirrors as its really needed since there is no rear defrost. After that I started finding XLT owners selling their OEM parts fairly cheap so been picking up a few upgrades along the way. Heated mirrors and backup Camera should have been standard on the truck but over all XL with 101A works fine for me

You need the button for rear defrost for them to work. I added them on my XL but the heated mirrors cut on when you remote start your truck, so don't really need rear defrost button if you have remote start. Everything works fine with the mirrors.

I have the XL 101A. I added new take-off ebay 18" Sport wheels and 5 bar XLT sport grill along with tinting the rear windows. Last week, I installed an integrated backup camera from Rostra. I'm satisfied with it now. It looks pretty similar to an XL STX but that package wasn't available back when I bought my truck in 2015.

I have the XL with the 101A and Sport appearance package and I love it. I upgraded from a GMC Sierra WT, so just having power windows and locks makes me giddy. Also have the backup camera, trailer assist and brake control. I'm surprised that they don't come with Sirius/XM, but I wasn't gonna buy a subscription anyway, was just gonna use the free preview.
As others have said, I wish I had rear window defrost and the armrest on the center seat sucks. No storage, and it's uncomfortable because I always hit my forearm on the corner of the cup holder part.

I have the XL 101A-Workhorse, while I was looking, the dealer told me 3 times that this truck is what contractors buy, I have always bought low end pick ups, 5.0L, 4x4 with the locking rear differential, 36 gallon tank, heavy duty hitch/trailer brakes, skid plates underneath, cloth seats, I thought this is nicer than most vehicles I ever owned. I added heated mirrors, had to buy another bezel, but ended up swapping out the switch portion of the bezel since I had different options than the new bezel and the truck didn't like it. Also added puddle lights to the mirrors. Added the OEM rear camera also, took a bit of work and I got the plow option to function, so an alternator upgrade will eventually happen. I wish I had the adjustable power seat and the 8 inch screen, both may happen yet. Love this truck, I don't mind getting in and heading off on a trip with it.
