Those that have ordered a 2017, how long did it take until your dealer had a vin# for you?

I ordered a 17 3.5EB on October 11th. Took about 14 weeks to get the truck and received a the vin around week 10 or 11. You should get your vin about a week or 2 before the build.

I ordered my truck on a Saturday afternoon. The dealership knew what the VIN would be the following Friday afternoon (they may have known sooner, I didn't ask until then.) The order didn't show up in cotusa for some time after that (and still shows only in cotusa, not in the "regular" cotus site.) My blend date was about 4 weeks after my order-entry date. Estimated delivery date about 6 weeks after order-entry date. This order was placed at a high-volume dealer in Texas, so not all that far from KC and I'm sure they have a generous allotment from Ford.

Just a little over a week. Probably would have been less if I asked sooner. 1/23 order. 2/3 asked for VIN and got it.
