Default Horn differences

I’ve got a 2019 F150 and a 2020 F150. There is a significant difference in the horns. The 2019 is very loud and aggressive whereas the 2020 sounds very weak compared to the other and sounds decently higher pitched. I did not know if this was normal or if may be I’ve got a bad horn. Can anyone chime in?

My 2020 is rather on the loud side. I wish I could give a slight beep, but any press on the button gets a loud honk. Too bad for the dumbarses delaying at the stoplights because they are on their phones.

Are both high and low horns working? Perhaps one is not. Just something to look at.

Sounds like your low tone horn is bad, so you only have a high pitched horn.

I tried to check it out but it looks like I’ll have to get under the truck to reach it. The plastic cover was just covering another plate blocking it. I’ll try in a day days when the temps are under 100.

Replacing my 2019 F150 horn and curious the difference between

FL3Z-13832-B and FL3Z-13832-C

OEM Replacement from Ford Dealership. One is $40 (C) and the other is $70 (B)
And just to add: both parts say "Fit Your Vehcile" with VIN being input

An expert can verify, but I thought the "Level 2" and "Level 3" are part number designations, not indicators of sound level or different types of horns. These changes may be based on when they were produced.

Pretty sure they are the same horn. Just part revisions. Steven with @AppleFordParts may be able to provide more information.
