Default Hmmmm...

Well, I tried to connect to forscan and it says the connection is not found. OBD2Linkx connection. One one port it shows green with flashing red, on the other it shows red. Is the Wi fi not strong enough? The app looks fine. Anybody got an idea of what's going on?

Silly question, but have you successfully paired the OBD2Link to a Bluetooth device?

Sorry but I'm confused with which OBDLink module you have. OBDLink offers the following for use with Fords:
  • OBDLink MX+ which is Bluetooth
  • OBBLink LX which is Bluetooth
  • OBDLink EX which is USB
My OBDLink EX only has one LED, a green one, that illuminates when you plug it into the OBD port. Only the Bluetooth versions have more.

What two ports are you referring to? I've never heard of a Gen-13 F150 with more than one OBD port.

Sorry. My post might have been worded a little bit confusing. I have the USB version. I only have 1 light, but it switches from yellow to green, but it also has the ability to turn red. On 1 USB port on my computer it flashes green and red. On the other it stays red. I was under the assumption that it only lit green or yellow, but the red is definitely in there.

I've never seen it turn Red. What computer are you running and what operating software.

Never heard of them before. I suspect your problem is related to a USB driver. I've got an older MSI laptop that originally ran Windows 10. I changed that to Ubuntu. Both operating systems ran the EX adapter and I've never seen anything other than a green light. I currently run a ASUS A17 and again, only a green LED.

I plug the link x into my usb port and it shows yellow. According to the instructions that means the drivers are already installed. I went into windows to update or view the drivers and everything seemed fine. This is really weird.
