Default Hit and run....

Someone clearly hit the right side of the chrome bumper. What's your thoughts on how much damage is there?

Unfortunately, the black metal part as you can see is pushed in just a little, no big deal, I can pound that back. No evidence of damage of the bed from the side.

Clearly the right chrome bumper is toast. Backup sensor appears ok. Do you think the bumper support is damaged as well?

I thought that at first, but you see how far it got pushed in, where the black of the bottom right of the bed is pushed in slightly, making me wonder if the bumper support brace is damaged as well.

Maybe damaged the bracket. Probably won't know till you get it apart. What is going on with the bottom of your tailight? Is that chipped paint or just a reflection?

Anyone know the best source for the right rear chrome bumper and the support brace? Dealership wants $300 for just the one chrome piece.

I've been warned by a Ford body tech if the bumper is hit similar to this and forced into the body, there is no support behind it and it will bend. Bend it enough and it will tear. And, according to him, aluminum has no real memory and will bend unless you are really familiar working with it. He told me they replace a lot of panels with that type of damage.
I'm thinking you have more expensive damage then you think it is.

Hope I'm wrong.

If you didn't have rear sensors I would give you a the chrome bumper piece since I swapped out the rear bumper and it's just taking up space in my garage. Unless you want to drill a hole for your rear sensor.
