A little naïve, no?

This may be common knowledge, but I smiled when I noticed. I plugged my phone charger into the dash mounted receptacle of my 2012 F150 Lariat. That's where it stayed for 4 years. I had a couple other places I could keep it but dangling from the dash worked best for me. I bought a 2016 Lariat a few weeks ago and decided the dash slot would no longer cut it. Keeping it plugged in behind the sliding door at the console/dash junction was kind of a pain too. This morning I decided I'd just keep it plugged in in the console and just deal with it when I discovered the neat little slots Ford molded into the leading edge of the console base for that purpose. Problem solved....

^^ One of the reasons I bought my F150. Small details like that show a lot of thought went into it whereas my wife's 07 Rav4 had console 12v and aux in ports, but pinched the cables if you left the phone out where you could use it.

Go to your dealer & ask for a seat belt extension for your truck.. They are FREE don't let them charge you for it. Stick that into the buckle. The truck will now think the seat beat is fastened.

Best mod to stop seat belt chimes. After entering vehicle put on seatbelt and it's completely silent, no chimes or lights and it's super easy mod to do Takes all of 6 seconds. It's so funny that everyone is so concerned when someone trims the crash bars on these new models to fit bigger tires because they are modding a safety feature, yet everyone is disabling their seat belt chimes so they don't have to wear them haha

Bottom of page 44 in the owners manual explains how to disable it.
