Question HID flutter

Anyone else notice that HID is ok when truck not running bit in accessory. But when truck turned on begin to flash. Used the same ballasts as 13 yet these continue to shudder when running.

For some reason Ford has the BCM programmed to PWM exterior lights when the engine is running. Your best bet is to have a capacitor on the control input (coil) of the relay harness supplying power to the ballasts.

I used a relay harness to supply power straight from the battery and have not had a problem.

you need both a relay harness AND error eliminator resistor boxes. I haven't installed my error eliminators yet, so I get an occasional flicker. Maybe once every few nights.

if you mean let the DRL circuit run the low beams at full power, yes it should.

I turned my DRLs off, so I can't speak for that. But I leave my headlights in auto and it kicks on and off without a hitch.
