Lol. It's a dime-a-dozen pickup truck, not a sports car.

This is what you don't drive in winter.

Whats the point of putting 2 car covers over it when its already in the garage? I understand one to keep the dust off, but that just seems overkill to me.

The top one is a dusty old cover, I put some old bed sheets over the truck first, then the cover.......and now I'm realizing this explanation doesn't make me seem any more sane......

Who cares, most of us are a little bit crazy on this site. If you want to tuck your truck in for its hibernation, go for it.

Ha ha, i keep my truck in my pole barn which has leaky roofs, major dust blown in drafts and blown in snow during Winter blizzards.
For the vehicles that i keep in my garage.... you're right that tarp cover does seem over kill to me also.

Unless the OPer is one of those persons that keepstheir big garage door open 24-7, even seen that in the Winter months.
Why some people do that?....no clue. Only thing i can think of is maybe a broken garage door?

Thanks! I had a Ram for 10 years and the thing would form new rust spots by just looking at it....lol.... obviously the F150 shouldn't have that problem but I promised myself I'd take better care of this one.

No problem with what you are doing here.....I have 5 vehicles that have never been driven on salty roads.

I have one car with two covers and quilts on it. It's been kept like that for about 30 years. I don't want any accidental dings or scratches.
