Question Help with window tint...

I'm trying to compare Llumar CTX and FormulaOne Pinnacle ONLY. They are both by the same manufacturer and they are both ceramic.
The reason I ask is because ceramic tints tend for have a "color" to them. Very slight, but it's there. I was hopeful that people who have these different tints on their front windows would be able to say if they match the rear OEM smoke color well.
I've been told that CTX has a blue-hugh and the Pinnacle has a green-hugh.
I would hate the mis-match and am homeful that someone may be able to make a recommendation here.

My pinnacle 5% all the way around matches pretty good. If you're looking to match factory rears the Pinnacle 15% seems to be the go to around here.

Do you notice and "green" to the Pinnacle compared to the OEM? Since you have a gray truck, it may not be as noticeable. Mine is going to be a blue truck, and I'm worried about the "cast" of the tint. Some people have said it doesn't matter at all, and others have said they could really tell...WHO KNOWS?

i'm pretty **** retentive and i dont notice any color difference, however - mine is much darker than yours will be so light will probably be more noticeable.

here's another angle:

Yea...I would say that yours looks about perfect. No color issue there, but I would agree with the degree of tint could make a difference. I guess I'll just have to go with it and see what we get! Thanks for the info.

I have pinnacle 20% on the front and air 80 overlay on the rear (essentially a clear)

15% also matches well but you can tell it is a shade darker than the rear

4js8wh...I didn't think there was a Pinnacle 20. My chart shows there's a 15 and a 30...but no 20. In fact, FormulaOne doesn't have a 20 in any of there series. The only 20 is Llumar dyed.

My tint guy may just have gotten busted

He calls it Llumar Formula One Pinnacle

Either he has an old roll if they ever made 20, is using a different brand or it is 15%

Also LLumar has the CTX line - ceramic - that also doesn't have 20%

Uh oh...somebody's in trouble.
The only 20 in the entire line is the Llumar dyed film. OR, like you said, it could be a ceramic...just a 15 ceramic.

It's definitely ceramic since I see the strange discoloration when wearing polarized sunglasses

He's very well regarded, so either he's making a $$$ conning us all with non Pinnacle stuff or he's just mixed up his %s

Appreciate the heads up on their not being any 20%, good to know for next time

*puts on blinders*
