So we picked up the OBDLinkMX+ dongle as suggested and while I'm sitting here learning how it works it pops up with P13D-00, what exactly does this mean & could it have something to do with the truck throwing a wrench light and going into limp home mode?

 

Yes it would, this is the code definition: Knock Control Combustion Performance Forced Limited Power. Basically the PCM is seeing too much knock and pulling power to try and get it under control.

 

Try putting 93 octane in it and see how it goes
