Default Help with things behind grill

Hello all!
I'm looking to cut out a part of my grill and put a 21" light bar. While planning this out I noticed 2 things.
Looks like I'm missing a hose connection on the right side of the grill and also what is this wire running down the middle?

I have 2016 f150 5.0 xlt fx4

No idea on the hose connection, other than it isn't OEM.
The wire, have you followed it out, might be for the ambient air temp sensor.

Part #4 looks like a blockoff cap for an unused port.

Not sure what is on that port on some trucks, but it looks like 2.7, 5.0, and non-Turbo 3.5 are supposed to get the cap, but turbo 3.5 doesn't get it.

Since you have a 5.0 you might just be missing that cap. The other truck you posted appears to be an EcoBoost.

Got it that would make sense. Thank you! No issues with the truck. Just in planning where to cut, I noticed it.
