Thanks for the input guys! Read that article dlbb, it was interesting. Glad the only difference between the two it the satellite radio...So the article states. So where do I go from here.

Here in South Eastern Michigan XLT Sports with the V8s and the same milage are going for mid $30s. But on the other hand I have a dealerships misrepresenting the trim of a truck I'm interested in. So do I drive the four hours to try to use this new information as a haggling tool? Or do I wash my hands of it and get my deposit back?

I heard a couple of you guys feel the asking price is too high, but looking at the options, and the final price of That French window sticker, I'm not sure. This truck buying game I'll wear you down.

Didn't think about the speedo acting up, Fremon Dave. Had enough of that with my 04 GMC!

there is more differences then just the radio. the speedo is reprogrammed to miles. hopefully the "re-calibration" to miles is accurate.

tbh i would personally get my money back and find another one. also there could be issues with the financing due to a Canadian truck in the us.

shameless love says to tell u i know where a rare 14 heavyduty lariat is for sale for 34k.
the dealership can help with shipping.

also the first link i posted was the duel sticker from ford. price does seam a lil high. what is it worth to u is the correct question.

Also remember, that inflated price is CANADIAN, not US dollars. A 60,000 dollar Canadian truck is $44,000 at the current exchange rate.

So that's, that! Well I guess the hunts back on. Thanks again for all the great information. it's going to be a 15-17 F150, so I'll be keeping my membership. Besides staying away from Canadians...lol, anything else I should look out for? My search is Sport/5.0/3.55 axel/tow/36gal/ and my Wife really likes the moon roof. Thanks again!

Sure dlbb. Zip is 48111
--MUST--
2015-17
Magnetic Grey
Sport
5.0
I pull a 700lb trailer so 3.55 e-locker and any other trailer goodies I can get.
Under 30,000 miles
Back up cam
Ford Certified

--BONUS--
36gal tank
Moon roof
Bed liner
Heated anything (Michigan winters)

We've gotten OTD quotes for $44 on NEW 2017s with all aboved options, but really don't want to drop that kind of cash. $30k would be awesome but feels untouchable.

Thanks dlbb and anyone else who helps me with the search.

As far as cloth or leather I have no preference, it'll come down to price. And for the trim options I have to assume that it will be an XLT because of price again. But if a Lariat or FX4 fall into my lap, I'm not going to complain...Fat chance!

I guess I forgot two other MUSTS
