Default Help with LARIAT pricing

Looking at a 2016 super crew 5.0 Lariat . Are there increased discounts as we enter end of year sales ? Sticker is $53,910 dealer low price $46,300 I thought discounts would be greater this fall. XLT are discounted more but I'm new to buying a domestic truck. Any help would be a great help.
I also found 2015's on a dealers lot . Didn't seem like a great deal?

That's not a terrible deal but I'd try for about 18% to 20% off msrp.

I've been shopping Lariats with similar sticker prices and have seen 8-9k off, but have yet to find a full 10k off of a 501A anyways. Would agree that 18-20% off is a pretty fair deal.

I've found pricing to be all over the map... some places won't deal AT ALL, and are only offering around 5% off MSRP (which is a joke!)

Others are more reasonable and will do 10-12% NOWHERE have I seen 18-20% in and around SoCal... AZ, NV, NM, TX... not on a Lariat.

Some of the trucks I'm looking at have been sitting on lots for 6-8 months and the dealer won't budge on the price. I guess they've got money to burn. But with between 50 to 150 2016s on the lots around here in LA you'd think they'd be in a more aggressive mood.

Fortunately for me I can afford to wait.

The best deal I've been offered so far was $46,094+TTL for a Lariat FX4, 501A, Max two max fuel, moonroof and bedliner... I still think if I wait another month I can get that same truck for $48 OTD... but we'll see.

Find the invoice price. The dealer should show you. $500-$1,000 under invoice minus any rebates is what you should shoot for. XLT's tend to have the highest rebates available.

Percentage off MSRP doesn't really help much in determining a price.

Window sticker has a date of Febuary 2016 , been sitting 8 months on lot . You would think 20% off is fair at this point
