Default Help, Ideas Needed To Protect Console

Not exactly sure what's causing this, but do you have any idea what/how to go about protecting the finish of the console so this does not keep happening.

What do you have on your side when you are driving? If nothing is on that side I would think maybe the little buttons on the side of jeans?

I'd guess the metal buckle clip; while buckling and missing and unbuckling. I'd probably clean it up and use some plastic restore and then maybe a clear plastic film; like what you get when you install the deezee tailgate assist.

Claw marks, trim your nails. I got the same on the door panel pocket from grabbing my wallet.

I used some of that adhesive carpet plastic movers use when they are in your house.

it is cheap and I covered all the areas that get scratched. including the kick panel on the bottom of the door sill(kids seem to step on the paint). I have put it on the carpet for road trips with dogs too.

It will definitely solve your problem.

Have never seen this before & have a friend who's door sill is getting scratched to heck somehow.

I take it you just cut it to fit, clean and apply?

Yeah, its like a tacky saran wrap. You can take it off when you want and replace it. You can try to cut it first, but I usually just stick a big piece on and trim it with a razor blade.

It is so cheap, you can practice until perfect.

My next road trip I am going to put a strip on my headlights and hood for the bugs. Just rip it off when I arrive, haha.
