Default Help Finding Ambient Temperature Sensor

Hi -

I just bought a 2019 XL, Regular Cab, 3.3, 4x4 (built in Dec 2018). It is a fairly basic truck. Showing code p0073.

It does not have a temp sensor in the passenger mirror (either mirror). Both mirrors look original.

I thought it would be in the middle of the grill between shutters and grill. I see three holes where I think it would mount but can’t find a pigtail for it anywhere. It might be missing?

If anyone could post a pic of where it is behind the grill and give me a sense of what it plugs into / where I’d be really thankful. Have spent many hours looking for it and can’t find a solid image or answer online that has helped yet.

Welcome to the forum.

On the 15-17 it was in the grill. In the 18s and up it's supposed to be in the passenger mirror.

Thanks you for the drawings. I’ve seen both of these in other threads. I’m certain is it not in the mirror. The grill diagram doesn’t tell me what it plugs into or where the connector might be. But based on it, I think the sensor is missing. Would love if someone here could confirm? See pics below

Can't really see the bottom of the mirror, in the shadow too much. It would a small bulb looking thingy on the bottom in those shadows. '18 up they moved it there.

It’s possible the previous owner could have replaced the mirror with one from a 15-17 causing this.

It should be in the mirror on a 2019.

This small cover here closer to the body is where the 360 cameras are located on higher trims. Not be to confused with the location of the temp sensor.

Hey, now you can upgrade to mirrors with the turn signals on them. LOL
