I run both on every truck I buy...which is a lot. They’re matched to work together very well.

What shocks are you running in the rear? I just installed the 5100's and now considering the Hellwig. But I don't want to stiffen it to much.

You don't put your truck in the post or sig. There are different front sway bars depending on configuration. Help us help you.

If your truck has the 53A Trailer Tow Package it comes with an "upgraded front stabilizer bar" according to the specs. My understanding from reading on this site is that the upgraded bar is solid as opposed to hollow, theoretically giving greater spring rate/stability. The front OEM is a fairly large diameter bar. Maybe someone with the front Hellwig has measured both and can report on which is bigger. Or perhaps a thread already exists and can be pointed to which has that answer.

2018 Crew Cab, 145" WB with Bilstein 4600s, 2000# Air Ride bags (5# psi when not loaded) and Hellwig bar (lowest setting) on mine. I would call the ride more behaved/controlled. Nothing really "stiff" about it, IMO. Even when airing the bags to 15# with a load, it is not that bad. Not even thinking about a front bar replacement.

Both oem bars are the same OD...one is hollow, one is solid as you mentioned. The front Hellwig is substantially larger than both oem bars.

Is the Hellwig front sway larger than the upgraded towing package sway? The factory front one is very cheap...

It’s quite a bit larger at 1.5” OD.
