Is there a way to confirm whether or not my steering wheel is heated? Lariat 502a and Auto Climate Control, Heated and Cooled Seats, but it seems I do not have the heated steering wheel option.

Also, I cannot find the settings that control automatic climate control on remote start. All of the Ford videos are an older version of Sync and the owner's manual is lacking.

If you have the 502A, you should have the heated wheel. Go to the climate screen in SYNC 3. There should be a soft button in the upper left hand corner to turn it on.

"B" is for the steering wheel.

And once you find the button you can use Forscan to change the heat settings.
And add the seats to the screen.

The remote start menu is in the IP settings..

I went through the index and then every page of my 590-page, 2017 F-150 manual looking for information how to turn on the steering wheel heater. There was not a word about steering wheel heat nor an image of the the 'Climate' screen as shown above. Sure, the location of the 'switch' is pretty obvious now. It's not at all that obvious when you don't have a clue as to where to start looking. :-(((

With latest Sync 3 updates the button should also be on the home screen. At least it was for my 2016.
