Default Heated shift **** and console

i just purchased a 2018 F-150 Limited. The 2018 dealer manual says heated shift **** and console lid. I would imagine they would come on with the heated steering wheel. My wheel heats up but not the other two.
One last question, the owners manual is vague on the “ambient lighting” any input please. Thank you in advance. Jeff

Thanks for reply. The dealer brochure in the interior section. I can take a pic. Here it is. That ambient lighting I’ll look up again in the manual.

I think it's just poor wording in the brochure. I read it as Navy Pier leather trims out the seats, wheel, console lid and shifter. The word heated, only describes the wheel, much like the heated and ventilated only describes the seats.

That being said, I'd be all for a heated shifter. That thing seems really cold after you've had your hands on the heated wheel. I know...first world problem

I agree, only the wheel is heated. But all have the trim

Ha - Yeah you have to go back to the beginning of the sentence and then it makes sense. Heated shift **** would be stupid but the heated console lid might be useful.

Its all in how you say it!

Heated shift **** would be nice when its -35 outside and my truck has been sitting out on the driveway all night.
